♦ Hannah Williams - Student at Camp Glen Arden 2005 - 2006
"Sarah was my instructor at Camp Glen Arden in 2005. She taught me a lot about horsemanship and helped me improve the foundation of my riding which has been very helpful in training my young event horse. She always had a positive attitude and had a great way of connecting with each rider and their individual needs whether it was a camper trotting for the first time or a camper doing a jump course. Sarah defiantly deserves many thanks from me and the Camp Glen Arden community for her knowledge and willingness to teach!"

"I called Sarah because I wanted another opinion and ideas to assist with improving Rickie’s ground work and putting the finishing touches on Rickie’s training. Sarah enjoys working with horses and their owners so they learn together and know what kind of horse they have when they get done. Sarah appears to have a lot of experience and knowledge with the reactions to expect from a horse and the way to work horses so they learn what you want them to do. Sarah reinforced many of the techniques that I was already using and made suggestions to assist with improving those techniques. Sarah made new training suggestions to help train Rickie to trot better, which we are still working with. Sarah also created a training lesson plan of 3 or 4 things to do as a guide and suggested rotating between the different items to keep Rickie interested and not bored."

Sky, my AQHA, NFQHA, mare consistently held her nose in the air while trotting, was not consistent at the gaits whatsoever, and was very unbalanced. Since Sarah has started working with us, Sky has learned to frame herself, drop her head and have contact with the bit, and is learning to become more consistent and balanced. I can tell a huge difference in Sky’s attitude and willingness to perform since Sarah started training us."
